Thank you so much for taking your time out and reading this post. I’ve been wearing them everywhere these days, you see. I’ll write more about them in my next post maybe. I love how adorning a stack of 5 or 6 midi rings adds such a casual chic vibe to your whole look.Īnd did I tell you about my current favourite sneakers yet? There’s something about these white sneakers that has everyone raving about. I’m loving the midi rings trend these days.

I too followed the suit and got myself into a striped crop top and black jeans to add a sense of balance to the shorter top. Now they’re back and with a bang! They’re a favourite of Taylor Swift, Kendal Jenner and Gigi Hadid these days. There were DJ parties everywhere and the whole Amsterdam was celebrating the equality of gay, lesbian and bisexual communities.Ĭrop Tops were a thing in the 80s and 90s when everyone from Madonna to Britney would flaunt their washboard abs in pop videos. There were tourists from all across the globe, everyone mingling with each other. In the evening, people would party in their own boats. It was a fun atmosphere in whole of the Amsterdam. In the afternoon we had the Gay Pride Parade where around 80 boats were sailing the canals displaying the celebration of gay pride in their own unique way. Everyone seemed to have a lot of fun, and so did we. It was like a real big party in Amsterdam last weekend.

Big displays of colors and multiple themed boats. Drag queens singing, with the crowd grooving to their music. A gigantic wooden sculpture known as 'The Man' is engulfed in flames during the 2012 Burning Man arts and music festival in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada. Parade of beautiful boats in famous canals carrying dancing and partying people. I must admit that it is the most fun event I’ve ever been to. The strange dichotomy of the organizers of a festival so beloved by recreational substance users (a site called High Existence has a list of 25 Reasons Why You MUST Go to Burning Man Once in Your Life) also having space for sober people to find friends and support is an appropriate summary of the gathering. It has been organized annually since 1996. And it took off.Last weekend I attended the Gay Pride festival in Amsterdam. And I made a couple flags actually, but this one I submitted to a blog on Tumblr about genderfluidity and gender fluid people. "I wouldn’t call myself an artist, but I’ve dabbled with drawing and bits of Photoshop, so I decided to create it myself. I found genderfluid to be fitting but was disappointed with the lack of symbolic representation," Poole said. At the time I knew genderqueer fit me, but it still felt too broad. "I had been trying to find an identity that fit me. The man can then be seen scurrying away with his. In an interview with Majestic Mess Designs, Poole said they created the flag because genderfluidity lacked a symbol and the term "genderqueer" didn't exactly fit. A video being shared on social media appears to show a man in Iran holding a giant Israeli flag that he has set ablaze, before the flames burn him. Purple: Represents both masculinity and feminity

The flag was created by JJ Poole in 2012 according to OutRight Action International. How often someone's identity shifts depends on the individual. People who are genderfluid don't identify with one gender, but rather their gender identity shifts between male, female, or somewhere else on the spectrum.
